I love Black seed bagels. It is not easy to find a dedicates gluten free establishment to enjoy breakfast, brunch or lunch. The LIC city location is my favorite! The bagels are made in-house, the staff is very friendly, the place is clean with a few tables to eat in and it is air-conditioned. I had a fabulous classic smoked salmon on a sesame bagel, a great cappuccino and took some bagels home. It was worth the trip from Astoria.

Black Seed Bagels is such a great coffee and bagel spot in Long Island City. The entire space is minimal, modern, and incredibly aesthetic without feeling overdone. It's the kind of place that's perfect for grabbing breakfast, enjoying a coffee, or spending some time catching up on work. The bagels are fantastic; fresh, perfectly toasted, and generously filled without being overloaded. One thing I really appreciated was that the cream cheese was balanced instead of piled on so heavily that it overwhelms the bagel itself. Every bite felt well put together. The coffee was excellent, and I loved the branding throughout the shop. As someone who studies marketing, I thought it was such a clever touch that the bagels are incorporated directly into the coffee cup design. You're not just buying coffee, you're immediately reminded of the brand's identity. It's simple, memorable, and honestly really cute. The prices are reasonable, the service is quick, and the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Whether you're stopping in for a quick breakfast or grabbing coffee before work, Black Seed Bagels is definitely worth a visit !!!

Always a pleasant experience. Consistent food. Bagels are small - perfect ratio for everything! Pastrami brought akfast sandwich was good~

Black Seed is the epitome of bagel excellence. There is NO comparison. In the hierarchy of Black seed Bagel NYC , the LIC locale is a standout! Today I ordered the toasted sesame bagel with cream cheese. The house drip coffee was also fabulous. I have ordered the 4 pack from Whole Foods delivery also . One time I travelled and left the WF bagels in my fridge 3 weeks and on my return, toasted them and they were still really good. Today as always, the staff at LIC was super knowledgeable . Genevieve was cordial and so helpful … efficient even on a busy Sunday morning. Of COURSE, We will be back!!!

I've been here 3x usually just get a BEC and a bottle of water. Taste great! Very tasty fresh bagels. Very nice staff. There has been twice when I waited pretty long though. Also fix the restroom door. It looks and feels so ghetto for a nice establishment. But also your floors too. That industrial look just looks cheap and dirty. Despite these gripes the actual food is great so I'll be back. For point of reference what you see in pic plus bottle of water was $15.22
